+27 (61) 272 61852016 marks the 14th year for the exciting National Marathon Mountain Biking Series. Established by Advendurance and sponsored by Ashburton Finances, it is one of the largest and most distinguished series of its kind in Africa.
The picturesque countryside town of Dullstroom, which is happily situated in the lofty Mpumalanga Highlands, will be hosting the sixth leg of the series, on the 3rd and 4th of September. Starting at the Dunkeld Country Estate, this race will feature spectacular views and a range of different terrains including: single track, jeep track, gravel road, savannah, rocky, plantations and indigenous forest. The Dullstroom segment will be a two-day event (unlike some other parts of the Series) which allows whole families to participate and enjoy the experience that is mountain biking in this scenic area.
Programme
Registration will kick off on the Friday from 16h00 to 19h00, and will follow on to Saturday Morning from 06h00 to 09h00. Sunday’s registration, on the other hand, with begin at 06h30.
