Calling all beer lovers! On Saturday, 30 September 2017, the Duck and Trout in Dullstroom will be hosting the inaugural Ducktober Beer Fest. The highest beer festival in Southern Africa, Ducktober Fest will look to attract thousands of local and international visitors to the quaint village in celebration of the oldest and most widely consumed drink in the world.
Running from 10am until midnight, this jovial event will feature stage music and an authentic ‘Oompah’ band, a delectable selection of food and snacks, and all the beer you could ever want or need. From ales and pilseners, to lagers and stouts, you certainly won’t be left thirsty. If you really want to get into the swing of things, make sure to get your own original Ducktober Fest merchandise, available for purchase on the day.
If you’re in town on Friday, make sure to catch the free pre-party, featuring tunes from DJ Cy-Co – also known as Thabiso from Jacaranda FM. And before you head home on Sunday morning, pop by the Duck and Trout for a delicious ‘Babelas Breakfast’ to round off a weekend well-spent.
Tickets for Ducktober Beer Fest 2017 cost just R150, and can be bought here. This price gains you entry into the festival and a complimentary Ducktober beer mug, which is yours to keep. Please note that Ducktober Fest is a cash-less event. Ducktober Coins can be purchased on the day.
