The Dullstroom Winter Festival is set to heat up the Mpumalanga highlands on the weekend of 3 to 5 July 2015. Each year, the cosy town of Dullstroom comes alive with the vibrancy of this mid-year event – which has become increasingly popular across South Africa.
Without a doubt, the most anticipated facet of the festival is the music, with a host of local South African artists in the line-up including aKING, Naas Veld and BARK.
Soulful duo Smook and the Three Beans will get the weekend off to an awesome start, with a performance at The Royal Coachman Restaurant on Friday night. Given their popularity, booking for this event is essential, so contact the restaurant on 082 453 1925 to secure your spot.
Saturday’s Village Green Concert in the Park is truly a Dullstroom Winter Festival stand-out, with artists such as bluesy trio BARK, duo Josie Field and Laurie Levine, and wave-maker, singer- songwriter Naas Veld on hand to keep the crowd entertained and on their feet. Following their success at the South African Music Awards (winning Best Rock Album) rock-band aKING will round-up the concert with an expectantly energetic and outstanding performance.
