MTN Bush Fire Festival

Swaziland’s annual MTN Bush Fire Festival , which takes place from 29 – 31 May, has been attracting a vast amount of attention from the international media in 2015, with CNN announcing it as one of the “seven African music festivals you really have to see.” Only 245 km from Dullstroom, the festival venue – House on Fire – is an easy 3-hour drive from the cosy town, and a mere 4-hour drive from Johannesburg.

Dullstroom EventsThe line-up this year includes musical acts such as Shortstraw (South Africa), Banda Kakana (Mozambique), Bongeziwe Mabandla (South Africa), Les Nubian (Cameroon), Black Jesus Experience (Australia), and local South African music legends Freshlyground.

As well as incorporating a main stage for the incredible music acts and three other performance areas, the Bush Fire Festival will also feature a handcraft market, open mic lounge, and global food village.
