New Year’s Eve Party

Celebrate the end of 2017 and the start of 2018 with a lively evening of delectable food and toe-tapping tunes at Walkersons Hotel & Spa. On Sunday, 31 December, the Flying Scotsman will play host to a New Year’s Eve Party like no other – with live music, a decadent buffet of festive dishes and complimentary bubbles at midnight.

On the culinary side of things, guests can choose from mouth-watering starters such as cream of Thai curry coconut soup, a trio of trout layered with guacamole and bacon, or an asparagus, brie and tomato tartlet. The impressive list of mains, on the other hand, includes roulade of lamb leg laid on crushed potatoes and brussel sprouts, roasted duck set on potato croquettes, and pan fried kingklip with a sweet potato puree. Last, but not least, be sure to save some room for a variety of hot and cold desserts, and a platter of hard and soft cheeses with preserves and crackers.
