A Guide To Innibos Kunstefees Festival 2019

The annual Innibos Lowveld National Arts Festival is coming back to Mpumalanga from 26 – 29 June 2019. Innibos Kunstefees is a popular local festival that celebrates Afrikaans theatre, literature, visual arts, music, and cabaret in various locations around Nelspruit – just 2 hours from Walkersons Hotel & Spa.

Innibos Festival 2019

Constantly growing in popularity, Innibos welcomes an increasingly large number of people every year with around 100,000 visitors to the festival last year. This year’s Innibos Festival is also set to host more than 200 performers through its doors including musicians, artists and actors.

What To Expect

The festival itself centres around over 200 stalls selling arts, crafts, and food open to the public. There is also a fantastic restaurant and quaint beer garden providing a reprieve from the hustle and bustle of the festivities. Innibos is a proudly family-friendly event that not only has children’s shows but also a well-equipped and fully supervised kid’s entertainment area. In order to make this all as accessible as possible, there will be a shuttle service available to those attending. Also, make sure to keep your eyes peeled as there are always some fantastic competitions happening over the weekend.
