The beautiful Walkersons Hotel & Spa has enchanted visitors to Dullstroom for more than twenty years. The stunning countryside views, well-stocked trout dams, luxury Dullstroom accommodation with all the modern comforts, and fine country dining make Walkersons a charming and memorable destination. The original owners created Walkersons with a Scottish country manor feel, with natural stone and wood and lots of interesting nooks and crannies.
Walkersons is a haven of serenity in Mpumalanga, with elegant dining rooms, a gorgeous terrace, the cosy Peggy’s Bar and lovely lawns leading to the hidden swimming pool. Its stylish, old world country atmosphere continues in the bedroom suites, with elegant décor, tastefully appointed bathrooms and large verandas to enjoy the glorious views.
Whether you want to be thoroughly pampered or prefer the independence of self-catering, Walkersons Hotel & Spa has an option to match your taste.
The great outdoors at Walkersons Hotel & Spa offers numerous activities, with easy walks or more strenuous hiking trails, and the chance of seeing blesbok, zebra and duiker. There are mountain bikes available with paths and recommended routes to follow. For some pure indulgence, the Walkersons Spa is a place of timeless peace and tranquility, with three treatment rooms and a steam room. The range of relaxing spa treatments includes BABOR facials, an array of massages, body exfoliations, body polishes, manicures and pedicures.
Dining at Walkersons Hotel & Spa is a treat and the options are aplenty. Chef Adri van Wieringen presents a 4-course dinner every evening in our fine country restaurant, the Flying Scotsman, and you can also request his memorable food and wine pairing dinners. The lighter Terrace Menu caters for families and children under 12 years, with its magnificent views. Picnic baskets packed with the chef’s delights and a chilled chardonnay can be enjoyed at the waterfall or a secluded spot amidst the rolling hills and breathtaking surrounds. High tea has long been a popular treat in Dullstroom, and day visitors are most welcome to pop in and enjoy our famous scones.
Ideal for a range of business and executive events, Walkersons Hotel has two dedicated conference venues that make up the Conference Center. The Walker Room can accommodate the capacity of the hotel, which amounts to 80 delegates, making it a viable option for large events or team building retreats. The Tapestry Room can seat up to 15 delegates and is secluded, offering more privacy than the larger venue. Each venue is complete with necessary stationary, a data projector, screens and WiFi as well as a fully catered refreshment station.
