Named after the famous 1920s locomotive, The Flying Scotsman restaurant offers a fine-country culinary journey. Our daily-crafted, three-course set dinner menu showcases local, seasonal ingredients in an intimate setting. The charming dining room, with its fireplaces, white linen, and silverware, creates a sophisticated yet inviting atmosphere. To maintain this, we welcome children ages 12 and over.
Casual Dining
With stunning views of the lush garden and surrounding countryside, The Terrace is a more laid-back dining option at Walkersons Hotel & Spa. With an extensive a la carte for breakfast, lunch and dinner and includes a kiddies menu.

With its plush seating, entertainment library and classic decor, the Colonel Potter Bar exudes a timeless elegance that will transport you to a bygone era. Whether you prefer a classic cocktail, a glass of wine, or something bubblier, our friendly bar staff will be happy to recommend the perfect beverage to suit your taste.
We were so blown away by our recent stay at Walkersons! We immediately felt a sense of calm and relaxation from our arrival – what a magical place. The warm welcome and attentiveness from all the staff made our stay that much more special. Most importantly... the food was sensational!

We celebrated my wife’s birthday, and the hotel staff surprised her with a beautifully decorated, delicious birthday cake, with a lovely rendition of ‘happy birthday’. We had a picnic set up next to the river, which was lovely. Food was excellent. The staff were fantastic: very friendly, attentive & professional.

A destination well worth the visit. This is a stunning venue, the hotel and grounds are superb, staff are attentive and customer service is excellent. We loved our room. Top drawer linen, fire in the bedroom and view to enjoy. Dinner was delicious and the bar carries a wide variety of wine, spirits and cocktails. Already planning to return. Finally found a spot that we want to come back too
